Am I really a bad mom for not allowing my children to have sleepovers or sleepover at other people's homes?

I think you are being to harsh. Once they get to twelve they won't want to do sleepovers as much especially the boys if you have any. It's okay to be a protective, but they will be safe at their friends house!
