Help with with this mystery book?

a few years ago i came across this book that for the life of me now i cannot remember the name i know if i see the cover it will come back to me. but the story is pretty much about a boxer just going thru life. it is not a biography i believe it was fiction story. if you could please just throw out some random book titles so that i can google them that would be great!
